How can I create a campaign?

Creating a campaign is simple. Once you get your account created on Snapdeal Ads, login to the platform and follow these simple steps -

1. Click on 'Create Banner Campaign'.

2. Enter basic details such as campaign name, RO number of the agreement with Snapdeal and the dates for the campaign.

3. Next select the platform and pages you want to display your ads on.

4. Choose the adspaces which you want to target.

5. Upload the creative of respective sizes.

6. If you want to target pages of specific categories only, choose the same.

7. You can also choose the cities in which you want your ads to be shown.

8. Select the day parting to let you campaigns run through certain times of the day only.

9. Finally, go to campaign list, click on the status and submit your campaign.

Once your campaign is submitted, our ad ops team reviews the creative and approves it to go live usually within 24 hours. In case there are any issues with the creative, our ad ops team will contact you directly .

What is RO number? Why should I use it for campaign creation?

RO number is the unique number used to identify the purchase order you sign with Snapdeal to run the ad campaign.

I created the campaign, but it is still not active? What should I do?

After creating the campaign, it needs to be submitted for approval from Snapdeal Ads Admin. To submit your campaign -

1. Login to Snapdeal Ads

2. Click on the ‘Campaigns’ tab

3. Search for your campaign, it should show status as 'draft'

4. Click on the status and 'submit'

Your campaign will be submitted and you may be contacted by Snapdeal Ads team. It usually takes 24 hours after submitting the campaign to make the it live.

How can I monitor performance of a campaign?

Basic details of the campaigns such as - total impressions and clicks are available against the campaign name in the campaign list itself.

To analyse the impressions and clicks for a campaign on a specific date, use 'Reports' tab available in the menu.

You can select from various options -

1. Specific campaign or all campaigns

2. Date range

3. Metric to analyse - Impressions or Clicks

'Reports' screen shows campaign trend in graphical format. You can also download the selected details using the 'Download' link

How can I change a submitted or active campaign?

You cannot change submitted or active campaign using the Snapdeal Ads platform.

Get in touch with your Snapdeal Ads Account Manager and he / she will assist you.

How can I deactivate a running campaign?

You cannot delete a submitted or active campaign using the Snapdeal Ads platform. Get in touch with your Account Manager and he / she will assist you with the same.

What are the different types of targeting available?

Various types of targeting are available and you can configure them during campaign creation -

1. Inventory - Target the platform (Web, M-Site, Android, iOS) and pages on these platforms (home page, product details, search results etc.)

2. Adspaces - Select from available ad slots on the platform and pages you have selected.

3. Category - Choose a category to show your ads only on pages related to that category. This applies only to pages which are category dependent, such as - Product details, product list, search result etc.

4. Location - Select the cities in which you want to show your ads.

5. Day parting - You can also choose the time of the day and week to show your ads.

Does Snapdeal also provide campaign management services?
