Make your Product Ads more effective

There are a number of factors that lead to a high performing ad. We looked at tens of thousands of campaigns and based on the data, we have decided to publish best practices for product ads to deliver the best results for you.

If the ad is not performing, your ad campaigns will not be effective and might not deliver the desired results. This is the only reason as a seller, that you would be worried about when delivering advertising.

FACTOR RECOMMENDATIONS
SD + Products Advertised in SD+ Perform extremely well as opposed to products outside of SD +.
Recommendation: Move your products to SD+ for high performance.
Product Reviews and Ratings A good product with high reviews and ratings (example 5 star on the above) works wonders for the product and click through rate (CTR).
It is highly recommended that you promote well rated products for getting good results in your advertising campaigns.
Pricing Look at the competitive products in your category or search pages (where your ads would appear and ensure that your products are priced competitively.
Infact, we would suggest that your promotional pricing has to be in effect for your ads to start working, because users need a reason to select your product as opposed to others and a better pricing for ads is recommended.
Number of Products The number of products advertised has an impact on ad campaign.
Ideally you should promote as many as products in your catalogue as possible.
This will directly impact your campaign performance by giving you increased reach and visibility.
Budget The minimum recommended ad budget is at Rs 5000, and ideally at Rs 10,000 to see results that matter to you as a seller.
Change Cost Per Click (CPC) The CPC Price of Rs 2 (or whatever is current in the sub-category you operate in) is something that is the minimum recommended price.
In order to get more clicks, and higher visibility it is recommended that you update the cost per click to a higher price.
For example if Rs 2 is not working, then it is recommended that you modify this price to Rs 2.50 or Rs 3.00 so that you can see what impact it has.
