What is a recurring campaign?

• Snapdeal ads now supports recurring campaigns as the default choice of campaigns. With this feature, advertising is not disrupted if campaigns run out of budget. Your campaign keeps running every week for the set budget. If your ads account doesnot have required funds, your CoD outstandings are automatically debited to top-up your ads balance.
• So for example if you set Rs 5000 as your weekly budget for your campaign, upon exhaustion of the budget - your COD balance will automatically be debited by Rs 5000 and your campaign will continue to run.
• Your campaign would never stop running as long as you have sufficient CoD Outstandings, till you either pause or delete campaign.

How would the money be deducted for recurring payment?

For all campaigns setup on recurring top-up, if there is not sufficient balance in your ads account, your CoD outstanding would be charged for the amount needed to run your campaigns setup for auto weekly top-up.

Can the amount be reversed after the CoD Outstandings are debited?

Once the CoD Outstandings are debited to top up your ads balance, we donot allow funds reversal. However, you can stop the campaign before the next due date to cancel further top up of ads account.

How can I stop recurring campaigns?

You can stop recurring campaigns by simply pausing them or deleting them. You can also deselect the recurring check box to make a recurring campaign as non-recurring. This would ensure no future recurring payments are made.

How much amount can the system debit from my COD Balance?

System will debit 30% of COD outstanding or the balance amount needed to maintain recurring weekly budget of the running recurring campaigns whose top up date is reached, whichever is lower.

What if I don’t have enough COD balance?

If the eligible COD outstanding is less than 100, as well as the wallet balance is zero, then the system will skip the topup and attempt it each subsequent day till the time either eligible COD outstanding > 100 or ads wallet amount > 0, when this condition is met, next top up for that campaign will be attempted after 7 days.

What happens if there is insufficient COD balance on 7th day and system upon reattempt debits the amount on 9th day?

In such cases, the next debit will be done on 7th day from the date a successful debit is done in current week and not campaign creation date.

In which situation the system won’t debit my COD balance?

Debit will not happen if the ads wallet already has the amount >= sum of recurring weekly budget for all running recurring campaigns whose top up date has reached.

Will this change apply to non-recurring campaigns as well?

No, this automation is only applicable to recurring Ad campaigns which you create new or the ones which you edit.

Note : Ads wallet is shared between all campaigns, which means any amount in the wallet is not reserved for any particular campaign.
